Central Java is a province located in the central part of Java Island in Indonesia. The capital city of Central Java is Semarang, which is also the largest city in the province. Central Java is home to various ethnic groups, such as Javanese, Sundanese, and Chinese, and has a unique cuisine, such as Gudeg (young jackfruit stew), Soto (spicy soup), and Nasi Gudeg (rice cooked with coconut milk and jackfruit). In addition to its cultural and historical attractions, Central Java is also a hub for education and industry, with several universities, research centers, and industrial zones located in the province.
